Lauren Shavell, MAMS is a graduate of the Masters of Associated Medical Sciences program in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois Medical Center, at Chicago. The medical arts program at the University of Illinois, Chicago is one of only five accredited programs in the country and is accredited by the American Medical Association's Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA). Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa in art, and minored in science.
